Ahead of the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2026, Barilla has introduced its limited-edition Gran Ruote Racing Edition pasta, featuring a wheel-shaped design inspired by Formula 1 racing.

Created as part of Barilla’s partnership with Formula 1, the product is the first in a planned series of special-edition pasta releases bringing together the worlds of food and motorsport.

Made in Italy using 100 per cent high-quality durum wheat, Gran Ruote has a ridged, wheel-like shape designed to hold sauces while retaining a firm, al dente texture.

Turning Race Night into a Shared Meal

While the pasta’s shape draws directly from motorsport, Barilla is also positioning the release around the idea of bringing people together during race weekends.

The campaign takes inspiration from Domenica Italiana, the Italian Sunday tradition of gathering to cook, eat and spend time with family and friends.

Instead of treating race night solely as a viewing event, Barilla is encouraging Formula 1 fans to turn it into an occasion for sharing a meal at home.
