There’s a new reason to head up to the rooftop of Citadines Connect City Centre Singapore—and it’s called Atic. Helmed by Chef Newein Dolph Toolseram, this brand-new restaurant brings a bold, modern take to Southeast Asian cuisine, served with skyline views and a generous helping of soul.
A Contemporary Reimagining of Tradition

The name “Atic” is a playful flip on “Cita” from Citadines, and like the name, the restaurant turns Southeast Asian tradition on its head—without ever losing sight of its roots.
Atic’s menu draws from Chef Newein’s rich heritage: Burmese, Chinese, Thai, Dutch, and Peranakan-Hokkien influences all show up in thoughtful, often unexpected ways. From his time at Bread Street Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay to concept development across local brands, he’s built a style that’s boundary-pushing yet deeply personal.
Signature Dishes with Stories

Take the Roti John, for instance—Chef Newein swaps out the usual baguette for a soft, nostalgic Hainanese bun made fresh daily by a heritage bakery. Or the Pork Chop Bakar, chargrilled the traditional Malay way for deep, smoky richness.
Each dish is made with locally and globally sourced ingredients chosen for flavour and integrity—no shortcuts, no fuss, just full-on flavour.
The Best Weekday Lunch Deal in Town?
Atic is currently open for weekday lunch, and the value is hard to beat. From just S$17.90+, diners can mix and match comforting carb bases (like turmeric basmati rice, egg noodles, or Roti John) with your protein of choice:
-
Brick Chicken – crispy on the outside, juicy inside
-
Signature Pork Chop Bakar – smoky, tender and well-spiced
-
Seared Barramundi – light and clean
-
Grilled Tiger Prawns – with bold umami
-
Hearty Ribeye – for carnivores craving depth
-
Fried Oyster Mushrooms – a satisfying plant-based option
Add some kick with sauces like Housemade Sambal Belachan, Thai Sweet Chilli, or Black Pepper Sauce.
Round it off with inventive sides like grilled broccolini, gambas, or garlic crispy cheese fries, and finish with one of the Southeast Asian–inspired desserts: cendol or a creamy orh nee tart.
More to Come
Currently open for lunch, Atic plans to expand to dinner service by Q3 2025, giving more diners a chance to explore its reimagined regional fare in a stylish yet relaxed rooftop setting.
The space seats 110 across indoor and outdoor areas, making it a go-to for everything from weekday lunch dates to private events. Chef Newein is also available to craft custom menus for corporate functions and special occasions.
