Sushi lovers have another reason to head to Chinatown. Japanese conveyor belt sushi chain Sushiro has officially opened its latest Singapore outlet at Chinatown Point, bringing its popular kaiten sushi concept to one of the city’s most iconic heritage precincts. The new restaurant will begin welcoming diners on 5 June 2026 and marks the brand’s 22nd outlet in Singapore.

Located just a short walk from Chinatown MRT station, the restaurant offers easy access for office workers, families, tourists and residents exploring the bustling neighbourhood. The opening is particularly significant as it is Sushiro’s first outlet situated within a heritage district.

A New Dining Spot in the Heart of Chinatown

Known for its affordable sushi, efficient ordering system and wide menu selection, Sushiro has become a familiar name among Singapore diners since opening its first local outlet in 2019. The Chinatown Point branch continues that formula, offering more than 100 varieties of sushi and side dishes prepared using carefully selected ingredients and fresh seafood.

The restaurant aims to provide a casual dining experience centred around sharing meals, making it suitable for family gatherings, quick lunches and catch-ups with friends.
