Open Farm Community (OFC), unveils a fresh new menu featuring produce sourced from around the region. This expanded menu continues OFC’s tradition of celebrating and supporting a trusted network of local producers and farmers.

Founded in 2015, OFC seeks to inspire Singaporeans to cultivate a deeper, more meaningful connection with food and farming by celebrating innovative chefs and their creations. Spanning over 35,000 square feet, this lush urban oasis combines
vibrant urban farmland with a spacious dining space, nestled in the heart of Singapore.

In a continued effort to support the urban farming ecosystem, OFC harvests fresh greens and fruits directly from its on-site farm and garden whenever possible, while ensuring that proteins are sustainably and humanely sourced. The farm cultivates less commonly grown ingredients, such as tamarillo and local herbs, which are then incorporated into their dishes and drinks. Herbs and flowers used in the dishes, drinks programme, flavoured oils, and vinegars are cultivated right on the premises. The all-new menu caters to a communal dining experience, allowing diners to savour the satisfaction of knowing that the ingredients on their plates were harvested just a short walk away from their tables. Staying true to OFC’s style of communal dining, the refreshed menu encourages mixing and matching large protein plates with small vegetable plates to create an exquisite composition of tastes and textures.

Diners can start their experience with appetisers such as the Stracciatella, featuring silky stracciatella cheese paired with house-cured duck prosciutto while the Red Snapper features locally caught snapper “cooked” in a citrus forward dressing with lesser common Tamarillo farmed on the grounds.

For mains, indulge in a diverse selection of proteins, including the aromatic Hay-Smoked Chicken, complemented by a laksa chimichurri sauce and the Seasonal Catch featuring grilled line-caught whole local fish. OFC’s pasta selection will satisfy all cravings, from the robust and fragrant Thai Flower Crab with farm-sourced spiced tomatoes and laksa herbs to Pasta Alla Norma where vegetables take center stage.

To end the meal, opt for the Deconstructed Tiramisu with Kahlua-soaked sponge, mascarpone espuma, and a medley of coffee-infused jelly, or the Chocolate Sake Fondant, with candied puffed rice, koji ice cream, and a hint of Balinese sea salt.

Guests are also invited to let the talented OFC team plan their dinner. Experience the culinary mastery of OFC with the Harvest Omakase, a five-course dinner meticulously curated to showcase the finest offerings. Priced at S$98++ per person, this exquisite menu can be perfectly complemented by three handpicked glasses of wine, selected by the sommelier for an additional S$45++.

Completing the farm-to-table experience is a selection of garden cocktails made using herbs and flowers grown on the property, enriching every drink with a unique botanical touch. Try the Stevia cocktail, utilising stevia grown on the farm, or the refreshing Cranberry Hibiscus, which derives its bright acidity from the hibiscus leaves grown around the grounds. A comprehensive range of wines sourced from across the globe, including a robust selection of Natural Wines by the Drunken Farmer team, is available to complement the meal.

Open Farm Community fosters connections between people, the land, and food, while actively promoting food sustainability and mindful dining. This commitment is reflected in every aspect of their menu, where mains, desserts, and cocktails feature local or regional ingredients. By supporting local producers and showcasing the vibrant flavours of the region, OFC exemplifies its dedication to community support and sustainability.
