Situated on the scenic Level 6 of the National Gallery, Art di Daniele Sperindio is thrilled to unveil the pop-up Bar Eduardo, spearheaded by celebrated mixologist Eduardo Zamora. Nestled on the Padang Deck, this pop-up offers an immersive experience with a stunning panoramic view of the city.

Affectionately known as Edu, Zamora’s hospitality career began in the charming local bistros of his hometown, where he cultivated a profound love for flair bartending alongside his academic pursuits. His relentless dedication to mastering mixology led him across the globe, from dazzling performances at The Venetian Macau Hotel and The Parisian Macau to honing his skills in Singapore’s top award-winning establishments.

Now, as part of the dynamic team at Art di Daniele Sperindio, Edu is set to captivate guests during this three-month activation at Bar Eduardo, turning each visit into a cherished memory.

Bar Eduardo serves as a storyteller through its cocktails, narrating the life stories of Italian migrants inspired by iconic Italian-themed films. The inaugural menu draws from “Don & Tony,” a poignant narrative from the movie “Green Book.” This film recounts the journey of Dr. Don Shirley, a world-class African-American pianist, on a concert tour through the segregated Deep South in 1962, with Tony Lip, a tough-talking bouncer from an Italian-American neighbourhood in the Bronx, serving as his driver and protector. Despite their stark contrasts, the duo forges an unexpected bond amidst the backdrop of racism and peril.

Highlighting classic Italian cocktails and aperitivi such as the Aperol Spritz, Garibaldi, and Negroni, the bar’s menu also features standout creations:

  • Maintain Your Dignity: Pandan Tokki Soju, Martini Rosso, Campari, Saline
  • Artist In the Bronx: Strawberry Aperol, Grey Goose, Lemon Cello, Fluffy Orange Juice
  • Orpheus: Jura Whisky, Ginger-Kafir Cordial, Ginger Beer, Bitters

Each cocktail is ingeniously named after memorable quotes from the film, inviting both cocktail aficionados and cinema enthusiasts to indulge in this unique fusion of mixology and cinematic storytelling.

Bar Eduardo is set to open its doors to the public on 14 August 2024. Don’t miss this exceptional opportunity to immerse yourself in a fusion of cinematic storytelling and cocktail artistry.
