Sky22 at Courtyard by Marriott Singapore Novena has introduced a new selection of Modern Asian dishes, expanding its menu with familiar regional flavours presented in contemporary combinations.

The latest additions, available from August 2026, range from a Claypot Surf & Turf pairing beef with octopus to a Miso-Braised Wagyu made with beef cheek. Diners looking for meat-free options will also find dishes such as Mushroom Miso Linguine, while the dessert menu now includes a Musang King Durian Burnt Cheesecake.

The new line-up follows Sky22’s earlier menu refresh in April 2026, which also focused on Asian flavours and familiar dishes reworked for the restaurant’s contemporary hotel setting.

New starters and lighter dishes

Among the new starters is a Beetroot Salad, served with mud crab, locally farmed ice plant, root vegetables and roasted sesame dressing. The combination brings together earthy beetroot with seafood and fresh greens, while the use of locally grown ice plant adds a Singapore-grown element to the dish.

The Corn Chowder is made with shrimp, cage-free egg and Shaoxing wine. A vegetarian version is also available for diners who prefer to skip the seafood.

Claypot Surf & Turf and other mains

Claypot Surf & Turf

One of the more distinctive additions is the Claypot Surf & Turf, which combines beef and octopus with black bean, ginger, an onsen egg and chinchalok salsa. Rather than the usual steak-and-seafood interpretation of surf and turf, Sky22 gives the idea a regional spin through the use of claypot cooking and Southeast Asian condiments.

The Miso-Braised Wagyu uses beef cheek, served with mashed potato, baby radish and carrot. The slow-cooked cut lends itself to braising, while miso adds savoury depth to the dish.

Another new meat option is the Grilled Pork Cutlet, marinated with coriander and peanut and served with pickled vegetables, fries and green peppercorn sauce.

For a lighter main, the Stir-fried Chicken Breast comes with seasonal vegetables, lemongrass, shiitake mushrooms and jasmine steamed rice.

A vegetarian pasta option

Vegetarian diners have a new main in the form of Mushroom Miso Linguine. The pasta combines portobello, button and king oyster mushrooms with garlic, sesame and miso, bringing together Italian pasta with Japanese-inspired seasoning.

Musang King durian joins the dessert menu

For dessert, Sky22 has added two new options. The Gula Melaka Semifreddo pairs mascarpone with rose jelly and coconut crumble, drawing on flavours commonly found in Southeast Asian desserts.

The more attention-grabbing addition is the Durian Burnt Cheesecake, made with 100% Musang King durian and Philadelphia cream cheese. It is likely to appeal most to diners who already enjoy durian, with the fruit taking centre stage rather than appearing as a subtle flavouring.

What is new at Sky22 in 2026?

With this August update, Sky22 continues to build its menu around recognisable Asian flavours without limiting itself to one cuisine. The new dishes move between Southeast Asian, Chinese and Japanese influences, while keeping the format accessible through familiar forms such as pasta, grilled meats, braised beef and cheesecake.

For diners who visited after the restaurant’s earlier April refresh, the latest menu gives them several new dishes to try, particularly the Claypot Surf & Turf, Miso-Braised Wagyu and Durian Burnt Cheesecake.
