Straits Wine is marking International Women’s Day 2026 with a distinctive new concept that brings together wine appreciation and high fashion. Titled Cuvée & Couture, the event takes place on 8 March 2026 at Straits Wine @ UE Square and presents a curated Wine x Fashion pairing experience in collaboration with Thai fashion house SUPA East Glamor.

The two-hour showcase reimagines traditional wine tasting by translating each selected wine into a live runway interpretation. Rather than simply sampling tasting notes, guests will see how elements such as flavour profile, tannin structure, body and colour palette can inspire fabric choices, silhouettes and styling direction. A structured, bold red may manifest as sharp tailoring, while floral, elegant wines may be expressed through fluid fabrics and softer forms. Sparkling wines might translate into lightness and movement on the runway.

The event is designed to be both approachable and experiential, blending wine education with fashion storytelling in an intimate setting. As wines are poured, guests receive insights into how mood and sensory characteristics influence design aesthetics, creating a dialogue between vineyard craftsmanship and textile artistry.

Wines are drawn from Straits Wine’s portfolio of artisanal, organic and biodynamic producers. SUPA East Glamor’s founder and creative director, Supaporn Eldredge, interprets each wine through her signature lens of modern luxury, Thai silk craftsmanship and culturally rooted yet internationally wearable design.

Tickets are priced at S$48 per person or S$88 for two. The dress code is semi-formal chic, and guests must be 18 years and above.
