After a day of eating rubbish as we were celebrating a friend’s birthday, today’s breakfast has to be all about clean eating. I had already prepared my chia seed pudding (made with coconut water and a bit of honey) previously. So to that, I topped it with a fresh fig and maple syrup.
It was sooo yummy! It’s now the season for these large fresh figs from Turkey so do get them if you can! I bought a box of 4 from Meidi-ya for S$7.65 while another friend managed to find them at NTUC Toa Payoh. Not sure about the price though.
So, don’t be surprised if you see more dishes with figs coming soon!
