Race to the Garden Table: Barilla Pasta Champions Team Up at il Giardino

Home / Events & Promotions / Race to the Garden Table: Barilla Pasta Champions Team Up at il Giardino

For one night only, il Giardino at the Singapore Botanic Gardens is bringing together two Barilla Pasta Champions for Race to the Garden Table, a four-hands dinner inspired by Monza and the flavours of Northern Italy.

Taking place on Friday, 9 October 2026, the dinner features Chef Lee Jungchul, Barilla South Korea Champion 2025, and Chef Felix Lee, Barilla Singapore Champion 2025. The collaboration centres on Barilla’s limited-edition Racing Wheel Pasta, with the menu designed around Italian culinary traditions and contemporary interpretations.

A Monza-inspired four-hands dinner

Monza is closely associated with Italian motorsport, and the dinner draws on that connection with a menu built around Northern Italian flavours. Rather than simply leaning on a racing theme, the collaboration puts the focus on pasta, regional ingredients and the two chefs’ different approaches.

The event is priced at S$88++ per person for a four-course set dinner.

Start with cicchetti before dinner

The evening begins at 6pm with a welcome drink and a free-flow cicchetti hour, available while stocks last. Both chefs will then give a short welcome before dinner begins at 7pm.

The published event schedule is:

  • 6pm–6.45pm: Welcome drink and cicchetti hour
  • 6.45pm–7pm: Welcome speech by both chefs
  • 7pm: Four-course dinner begins
