Millennium Hotels and Resorts (MHR) is marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October with a mix of interactive community activities and pink-themed food and drink across its six Singapore hotels. The month-long “Moments That Matter” campaign is held in partnership with Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF), with selected purchases contributing to the charity.
Threads of Care turns messages of support into donations
At the centre of the campaign is Threads of Care, an installation set up in the lobbies of all six MHR properties in Singapore. Guests and members of the public can collect a thread from the front desk, add their name and a message of encouragement, then tie it onto the display.
Once a hotel’s installation is filled, that property will donate S$1,000 to Breast Cancer Foundation. The idea is to turn individual messages of support for patients, survivors, caregivers and loved ones into a collective gesture with a direct fundraising component.

Grand Copthorne Waterfront adds a wellness spin to afternoon tea
At Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore, The Lobby Lounge is serving a pink-themed wellness afternoon tea in collaboration with local tea brand Luli. The set is priced at S$96 for two, with S$1 from each set sold going to BCF.
The menu includes both savoury and sweet items, including Balik salmon on pink toast and Yuzu Prawn Pie Tee. The experience also begins with a complimentary Traditional Chinese Medicine assessment by Aiteaic, followed by a personalised herbal tea recommendation from Luli.
Guests can add a customised wellness mocktail for S$12++ for two or a personalised low-alcohol wellness cocktail for S$24++ for two.

The concept builds on Grand Copthorne Waterfront’s earlier AI wellness afternoon tea experience with personalised herbal tea pairings.
Pink drinks, desserts and dim sum across other MHR hotels
Other MHR properties are also joining the campaign with limited-time pink-themed offerings throughout October.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a community focus
MHR launched the campaign with a preview at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore, where representatives from MHR and BCF joined a breast cancer patient in a discussion about practical and emotional support throughout the cancer journey.

Throughout October, staff at MHR’s Singapore properties will also wear pink ribbons to encourage conversations around breast cancer awareness. Members of the public do not need to be hotel guests to participate in the Threads of Care installations.
For diners, the campaign offers a simple way to pair an afternoon tea, drink or snack with a small charitable contribution, while the lobby installations create another avenue for people to show support without making a purchase.
