Singapore’s fine dining scene has received another international nod, with 27 restaurants in the city making the Trip.Gourmet 2027 Fine Dining List.

Released as Trip.Gourmet marked its 10th anniversary, the latest edition covers 744 restaurants across 105 cities and 40 countries and regions. Restaurants are divided into three tiers: Black Diamond, Diamond and Platinum.

Singapore accounts for three Black Diamond restaurants, eight Diamond restaurants and 16 Platinum restaurants.

The global list was unveiled at Resorts World Sentosa, making Singapore the host city for this year’s launch.

Singapore’s Three Black Diamond Restaurants

The Black Diamond tier is the highest distinction on the Trip.Gourmet list, with only 60 restaurants worldwide receiving the designation.

Singapore’s three Black Diamond restaurants are:

  • Les Amis
  • Odette
  • Restaurant Labyrinth

The selection puts all three among a relatively small group globally, alongside restaurants in cities including Tokyo, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Paris, London and New York.

Eight Singapore Restaurants Receive Diamond Status

A further eight Singapore restaurants appear in the Diamond category:

  • JAAN by Kirk Westaway
  • Meta Restaurant
  • Peach Blossoms
  • Restaurant Born
  • Seroja
  • Summer Pavilion
  • Thevar
  • Zén

The group covers a fairly broad cross-section of Singapore’s higher-end restaurant scene, from contemporary European and Asian cooking to restaurants built around interpretations of regional ingredients and cuisines.

16 Restaurants Make the Platinum List

The largest group of Singapore restaurants sits within the Platinum tier:

  • 1887 by André
  • Bistecca Tuscan Steakhouse
  • Burnt Ends
  • Cloudstreet
  • CUT by Wolfgang Puck
  • Ginza Sushi Ichi Singapore
  • LAVO Italian Restaurant and Rooftop Bar
  • NAEUM Restaurant
  • OCEAN Restaurant
  • Saint Pierre
  • Shoukouwa Restaurant
  • Spago Dining Room by Wolfgang Puck
  • Summer Palace
  • Waku Ghin by Tetsuya Wakuda
  • Whitegrass Restaurant
  • Yì by Jereme Leung

Together, the three categories give Singapore 27 entries on the 2027 list.

Asia-Pacific Dominates the 2027 List

While the ranking has expanded considerably beyond Asia, Asia-Pacific continues to make up the largest share.

There are 478 restaurants from the region on this year’s list, representing close to two-thirds of the global total. Of the 60 restaurants awarded Black Diamond status, 32 are in Asia-Pacific.

Europe, however, has the widest geographical coverage, with selected restaurants spanning 20 countries and regions and 35 cities.

The broader spread is worth noting because Trip.Gourmet started as a single-market ranking a decade ago. The 2027 edition adds 35 new destinations across Europe, North America, Oceania, Asia, South America and Africa.

Food Is Increasingly Becoming Part of Travel Planning

The expansion also comes as travellers appear to be putting more emphasis on what they eat when deciding where to go.

According to Trip.com Group’s own platform data, food-related searches increased 45% during the first eight months of 2026, while searches specifically for restaurants rose 68%.

Interest was not limited to fine dining. Searches for buffets increased 66%, while café, coffee and tea searches were up 67%. Seafood searches rose 218%, while searches for local specialities increased by more than 700%.

That arguably says more about modern food tourism than any individual restaurant ranking. Travellers are not necessarily looking only for tasting menus or famous chefs; they are increasingly searching for particular dishes, local food experiences and places to eat alongside flights and hotels.

Trip.Gourmet Adds Restaurant Booking Privileges

Trip.Gourmet is also trying to connect its restaurant recommendations more directly with bookings.

Its restaurant booking network now covers more than 43,600 restaurants globally, including almost 40,000 outside its home market.

A new WOW Privileges programme will also give eligible Trip.com Group Black Diamond members access to a limited allocation of seats at selected difficult-to-book restaurants. New seats for the following month are scheduled to become available on the first of each month, with more than 320 seats expected to be offered over a year.

Depending on the restaurant, additional benefits may include priority seating, chef greetings or limited-edition menus.

For diners in Singapore, though, perhaps the more useful part of the announcement is simply the local shortlist. With 27 Singapore restaurants represented across the three tiers, there is plenty here to browse whether you are planning a special-occasion dinner at home or using food as the starting point for your next trip.
