Expect Peranakan dining pop-ups, hawker-inspired cocktails, and over-the-top National Day promotions—all housed in one of the city’s most stylish new boutique hotels.
Tok Panjang Dining by Butterfly Table x Cygnet
On 17, 24, and 31 August, the hotel’s signature restaurant Cygnet by Sean Connolly hosts Butterfly Table by Tiap Tiap, a mother-daughter duo known for elevating their home-style Peranakan feasts into storytelling-driven dining events.
This Tok Panjang-style dinner features:
DIY Kueh Pie Tee and handmade fish keropok
Roti Bakar Ikan and Fuchow Fishballs
Rainbow-hued Nasi Ulam with edible flowers
Heirloom dishes like Buah Keluak Pork Ribs and Nyonya Curry Chicken, slow-cooked for over 48 hours
Side dishes like Assam Pedas, Telur Belanda, and sambal okra-brinjal stir-fry

Locally-Inspired Cocktails at Cygnet Bar
From 1 to 31 August, the Cygnet Bar serves four new cocktails inspired by Lau Pa Sat hawker favourites, including:
Kopi & Kaya: Rum, coffee liqueur, coconut and gula melaka
Satay: Peanut butter-washed gin with lemongrass, pineapple, and coconut cream
Biryani Martini: Gin with house-made masala vermouth and saffron oil
Char Siu Highball: Cognac with house-made char siu cordial and sesame oil
