From 11 October to 1 November 2026, J65 at JEN Singapore Tanglin by Shangri-La is hosting Pasta Fiesta with guest chef Muhammad Imran, also known as The Pasta Nerd. The limited-time collaboration brings handmade pasta to the halal-certified restaurant’s International Dinner Buffet, alongside chilled seafood and international dishes.
Handmade pasta, from Italian classics to Asian flavours
At a live cooking station, Chef Imran will roll and shape fresh pasta in colourful patterns. Nine dishes will rotate throughout the promotion, so the full selection will not necessarily be available on every visit.
Traditional options include Ricotta Gnocchi with tomato-basil sauce, charred tomatoes and basil cream; Braised Beef Agnolotti del Plin with beef jus; and Trofie with Genovese pesto and burrata.
Some of the more unusual combinations draw on Asian cooking. Duck Pho uses cappelletti filled with duck rillettes in fragrant duck broth. Udang Lemak Daun Kunyit combines prawn-filled girasole with lemak gravy, charred pineapple and crispy turmeric leaves. Beef Gulai reimagines braised beef cheek as an open-faced lasagna with gulai gravy.
The promotion also spans World Pasta Day on 25 October.
What else is on J65’s International Dinner Buffet?
The buffet includes lobster, prawns and mussels on ice, along with whole Norwegian salmon, laksa, braised oxtail and other rotating dishes. J65’s wider selection highlights seafood and familiar Singapore flavours, including signatures such as Singapore Laksa with Udang Galah and Whole Norwegian Salmon with Nyonya Sauce. Durian Pengat is among its locally inspired desserts.
Menus are subject to rotation and change, so diners should not assume every advertised dish will appear during a particular service.
J65 dinner buffet prices and schedule
Pasta Fiesta is part of the Sunday-to-Wednesday buffet. Thursday evenings feature Ah Hoi’s Seafood Night, while Seafood Mania takes place on Fridays and Saturdays.

All dinner buffets run from 6pm to 10pm, with last orders for food and drinks at 9.30pm. Children below six dine free. Prices exclude the 10% service charge and prevailing government taxes.
