Introduced globally ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix, Crystalgold represents a significant shift in the brand’s innovation roadmap: a transparent, ultra-smooth spirit created through a bespoke blending approach and a pioneering filtration method that removes colour while preserving depth and character.

Positioned between the versatility of clear spirits and the craftsmanship of oak-aged whisky, Crystalgold offers a fresh alternative for afternoon-to-evening drinking occasions. It can be enjoyed neat, on ice, or in cocktails, giving bartenders and drinkers a new level of flexibility without compromising on flavour.

Innovation That Enhances Tradition

Master Blender Sandy Hyslop emphasises that Crystalgold was designed to honour Chivas Regal’s heritage while pushing technical boundaries. Years of experimentation led to the development of a filtration process that maintains flavour complexity despite the spirit’s striking clarity. According to Hyslop, the goal was not simply to innovate for novelty but to present a new drinking experience that still carries the unmistakable Chivas profile.

Charles Leclerc Fronts the Global Launch

Global Brand Ambassador and F1 driver Charles Leclerc leads the rollout of Crystalgold. His emphasis on precision, innovation and strategic thinking—both on track and in personal pursuits such as chess—aligns with the philosophy behind the new expression. Leclerc’s collaboration mirrors the spirit’s intent: to offer a modern interpretation of tradition.

Together, Leclerc and Chivas Regal created the Crystalgold Spritz, a cocktail featuring citrus, elderflower, mint and champagne paired with Crystalgold. This signature serve highlights the spirit’s versatility and positions it as a contemporary choice for elevated social occasions.

Responding to Evolving Consumer Preferences

According to Chivas Regal’s Marketing Director Nick Blacknell, three-quarters of consumers are seeking spirits suited to more flexible, lighter drinking occasions*—a shift that Crystalgold directly addresses. The new release opens the brand to both loyal followers and new drinkers looking for refined yet approachable options in the premium spirits landscape.

Crystalgold will be available at selected retailers including FairPrice Finest, and at leading hospitality venues such as LAVO Singapore, SUSHISAMBA Singapore, Atlas Bar, Mondrian Hotel Duxton and Nutmeg & Clove.
