Abundant Festive Dining at Planter’s Shed
Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree launches its first-ever festive season programme, A Wild Christmas, inviting guests to celebrate among the natural greenery of Singapore’s only rainforest resort. Planter’s Shed leads the festivities with a rainforest-inspired menu spanning both set lunches and expansive buffet dinners.
From 4 December 2025, diners can enjoy a Four-course Set Lunch built around comforting holiday flavours. It opens with a Winter Jewel Kale Salad of squash, pomegranate and feta, followed by a smooth Roasted Tomato and Fennel Soup with crème fraîche. Mains include Slow-Cooked Beef Cheek with Port Wine Jus or Pistachio-Crusted Norwegian Salmon with citrus Champagne sauce. A Christmas Citrus Pudding with vanilla dark rum sauce finishes the meal on a warming note.
The experience extends into a Festive Buffet Dinner featuring a premium seafood spread of Boston lobster, snow crab legs and scallops. The Carving Station serves Roasted Christmas Turkey, Honey-Glazed Boneless Ham and Creole-spiced Angus OP Ribs. A live station prepares the resort’s Signature Lobster Laksa for a local nod. Dessert options range from Panna Cotta and Chocolate Fondue to Pecan Pie and classic Christmas Pudding. Carolers and Santa appearances on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day add to the atmosphere.
