Manhattan, the award-winning bar at Conrad Singapore Orchard, has unveiled a striking new cocktail menu titled Seasons of Manhattan. This creative collection pays homage to New York City’s distinct seasonal charm, capturing the spirit of the borough through time and taste.
The new menu is designed like a desk calendar, guiding guests through a curated journey of Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter in NYC. Each of the 31 cocktails is a tribute to hallmark moments and cultural touchpoints—blooming cherry blossoms, the buzz of summer heat, crisp autumn air, and the sparkle of year-end festivities.
Among the standout Spring cocktails is Where the Boys Are, a vibrant mix of tequila, mezcal, citrus, plum, and blackberry—playfully inspired by college spring breaks and beer pong nights. For a touch of glamour, Meet Me Halfway delivers a pear- and peach-kissed whiskey sour adorned with rice-paper designs reminiscent of the Met Gala’s couture.
When summer hits, It’s Gettin’ Hot in Here channels the urban heat with a butter-washed genever hot toddy, while Harlem Shake brings a lively tiki-style rum drink inspired by the borough’s creative heartbeat.
Autumn arrives with the bold and complex Tatami Shot, blending Japanese single malt with baijiu, spiced pear, and mushroom lemon oleo. A zero-proof version, Autumn Sonic, mirrors the savoury depth while offering a mindful option.
To toast the holidays, Minutes to Midnight is served from a mini champagne bottle—celebrating New York’s New Year’s Eve traditions and the global embrace of the “Grapes of Luck.”
Cocktails Aged with Time and Talent
Honouring the element of time, Manhattan also showcases new barrel-aged creations in its in-hotel rickhouse. Highlights include Triumph of Liberty, a smoky Old Fashioned nodding to Independence Day. Guests can also explore pours aged in collaboration with global icons like Melbourne’s Millie Tang and London’s Connaught Bar, as part of the Friends of Manhattan programme.
Seasonal Bites to Match
The new cocktail journey is complemented by a refreshed food menu, celebrating New York’s multicultural influences. Dishes include:
-
Devilled Smoked Soy Egg with trout roe for Spring
-
Lobster Taco in crisp wonton for Summer
-
Burmese Cauliflower Curry with burrata and pepitas for Autumn
-
Tom Yum Hamachi Tartare on tostones for Winter
Head Bartender Zana Möhlmann sums it up best: “Every drink tells a story—not just of New York, but of how we see and feel it.”
