The Barilla Pasta Championship Asia is back, inviting chefs across Singapore to showcase their talent and push the boundaries of Italian cuisine. Organized by Barilla for Professionals, this competition challenges participants to create innovative pasta dishes using Barilla Spaghetti n.5 or Penne Rigate, demonstrating technical skill, creativity, and mastery of al dente perfection.
The winner of the Singapore National Finals will advance to the Asia Finals in October 2025, where they will compete against chefs from China, India, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, South Korea, and Vietnam. The top three chefs from Asia will earn a once-in-a-lifetime culinary experience in Parma, Italy—the UNESCO Creative City for Gastronomy and home of Barilla—along with cash prizes of up to €3,000.

How to Enter
📅 Applications are open until 15 April 2025
🔹 Submit a signature pasta dish featuring Barilla Spaghetti n.5 or Penne Rigate as the main ingredient.
🔹 Provide a step-by-step recipe breakdown showcasing creativity, technique, and balance of flavours.
A panel of esteemed judges, including Barilla APAC Executive Chef Andrea Tranchero, will assess entries based on:
- Aesthetic appeal
- Harmony of flavours
- Technical execution
- Perfect al dente texture
Finalists from each country will receive an exclusive Barilla for Professionals chef jacket as a mark of achievement.
