Retail and advertising managing agent, Stellar Lifestyle, is celebrating the season of giving in partnership with The Food Bank Singapore and Incubaker with the event “The Santa Express @ Hive by Stellar Lifestyle”. This event is in support of Food Bank Singapore and Montfort Care Family Services, benefiting about 260 families before the end year is up.
Purchase to donate special ‘Bundles of Love’
Leading up to “The Santa Express @ Hive by Stellar Lifestyle”, members of the public can purchase food bundles at S$25 (featured image) each from Stellar Lifestyle’s Tik Tok Shop to give to Montfort Family Services. These “Bundles of Love” are put together by Food Bank Singapore and include staples such as rice, oil, salt, vermicelli, biscuits and crackers.
Food Bank Singapore will also set up a donation booth at “The Santa Express @ Hive by Stellar Lifestyle” for anyone to contribute to Food Bank’s Card Program, a digitalised solution to build a brighter, food-secure future for Singapore. These Food Bank Cards are given to food-insecure households where they are able to redeem meals at either Food Bank’s vending machines island-wide or at any partner F&B establishment.
“Let us all join forces to end food insecurity of all forms in Singapore by 2025,” said Jameson Chow, Manager of Food Bank Singapore.
Santa Express Charity Event at Hive
In addition to the “Bundles of Love”, there will be a charity event at Hive at Esplanade MRT station on Tue, 20 December 2022. The programme will feature a Token of Appreciation ceremony for sponsors and partners, ‘The Great Hive Bites’, Christmas performance by Daniel Ng who is a member of Singapore Association of Visually handicapped, a festive self-shoot photo studio party and festive baking class by Incubaker for children from the beneficiaries of Montfort Care, Marine Parade Family Service.
“We are grateful for partners like The Food Bank Singapore who support Montfort Care’s work towards empowering individuals and families. These sponsored baking classes are a wonderful gift for the families, as it is an opportunity for the family members to enjoy the joy of creating and of connection as they create new memories together,” said Serene Tan, Director of the Marine Parade Family Service Centre.
Tony Heng, President of Stellar Lifestyle, shares, “As we celebrate this Season of Giving, Stellar Lifestyle is honoured to give back through Montfort Family Services and touch the lives of Singaporean families in situations. This is in line with our ‘Do Good’ philosophy, and we will continue to do our part to uplift the communities we serve.”
