Looking for somewhere to celebrate Singapore’s 61st birthday? This August, Singapore Flyer is marking the occasion with a packed programme of food, entertainment and exclusive promotions that make it easy to spend the day—or evening—by Marina Bay.

From the return of its popular waterfront night market to new family-friendly dining experiences at 165 Sky Dining, there’s something for visitors of all ages throughout the National Day period.

Street Eats Under the Stars Returns

One of the highlights of this year’s celebrations is the return of Street Eats Under the Stars, the Singapore Flyer’s waterfront night market.

Now in its third edition, the event will take place from 5 to 10 August 2026, running daily from 3pm to 10pm at the Singapore Flyer Waterfront Promenade. Following last year’s popularity, the event has been extended by an extra day.

Visitors can expect a lively atmosphere featuring local street food, live music and Marina Bay views, with free admission throughout the six-day event.

Join the Stamp Card Challenge

Beyond the food stalls, visitors can also participate in a self-guided stamp card challenge around the Singapore Flyer precinct.

Those who complete the activities can redeem a gift while earning an entry into a lucky draw, where one of the prizes includes a dining experience at 165 Sky Dining by Singapore Flyer.

Stamp cards are available to guests presenting a same-day Singapore Flyer admission ticket at the ticketing counter or attraction entrance.

Watch the National Day Parade Live

If you don’t have tickets to the National Day Parade, Singapore Flyer will once again host a complimentary live screening on 9 August.

The screening begins with the pre-show from 5.30pm at the Greek Theatre, an outdoor amphitheatre overlooking Marina Bay. Visitors can soak up the festive atmosphere while enjoying complimentary Tiger Beer samples, available while stocks last.

New Family-Friendly Experiences at 165 Sky Dining

Singapore Flyer’s signature dining experience is becoming more accessible this year.

For the first time, 165 Sky Dining is welcoming children under seven into its shared dining capsules. Families can also order a dedicated four-course children’s menu, designed for guests aged three to twelve.

Priced at S$130 nett, the menu includes dishes such as Cream of Hokkaido Corn and Breaded Cod Fish with House Tartar Sauce, making the experience more suitable for younger diners.

Another new addition is the introduction of single-seat bookings.

Solo travellers can now reserve an individual seat from S$260 nett, making it possible to enjoy the revolving dining experience without needing to book an entire table.

National Day Promotions Throughout August

Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents can also enjoy a pair of exclusive SG61 promotions throughout August.

The SG61 Buddy Deal offers two Singapore Flyer tickets for S$61, while the SG61 Sip and Soar package includes either the Singapore Sling Experience or Premium Champagne Experience for S$61.

Meanwhile, every guest dining at 165 Sky Dining during August will receive a complimentary Singapore Sling cocktail or mocktail to accompany their four-course contemporary French meal served 165 metres above the city.

A Festive Month at Marina Bay

Whether you’re visiting for the night market, taking in panoramic skyline views or celebrating with dinner above the city, Singapore Flyer has put together a varied programme for National Day that caters to families, couples, solo visitors and groups alike.

With free events alongside limited-time promotions, August could be one of the best times of the year to visit one of Singapore’s most recognisable landmarks.
