Resorts World Sentosa has welcomed a new addition to Singapore’s hotpot scene with the opening of QUAN Hotpot, a contemporary dining concept that blends traditional communal cooking with a modern culinary perspective.

Inspired by the Chinese philosophy of balance across five key flavour profiles — sour, sweet, bitter, spicy and salty — the restaurant brings together carefully developed broths, premium ingredients and a warm social dining environment designed for shared meals.

The result is a hotpot experience that feels both familiar and refined, suited for gatherings with family, friends or colleagues.

Signature broths inspired by regional flavours and traditions

At the centre of the QUAN Hotpot experience is a thoughtfully curated selection of signature broths reflecting both local influences and regional Chinese traditions.

One highlight is the Signature Singapore Laksa Broth, which draws inspiration from the beloved local classic with its creamy coconut base layered with aromatic spices. Diners who enjoy bold flavours may gravitate towards the Classic Sichuan Mala Broth, known for its signature numbing heat from peppercorns and dried chillies.

For something richer yet comforting, the Bone Pepper Broth delivers depth through long-simmered bones, while the Collagen Herbal Chicken Broth offers a lighter herbal alternative rooted in traditional Chinese cooking. Another distinctive option is the Traditional Congee Broth, a silky rice-based broth simmered with Thai jasmine rice and mushroom stock that adds a different dimension to the hotpot experience.

Premium ingredients from land and sea

The broth selection is complemented by an extensive range of premium ingredients designed to suit different dining preferences.

Guests can choose from meats such as Australian Wagyu beef and Iberico pork, alongside seafood options including live Boston lobster, Korean abalone and tiger prawns. Seasonal vegetables, locally sourced produce and handcrafted hotpot selections round out the ingredient lineup.

Beyond traditional hotpot staples, selected meats and seafood are also prepared using a Josper Grill, adding a subtle smoky character that enhances their flavour before they reach the table.

A focus on freshness and responsible sourcing

Ingredient quality plays a central role in the restaurant’s concept, with an emphasis on working closely with local farms and fisheries wherever possible.

From sustainably grown vegetables to fresh seafood and cultivated mushrooms, the sourcing approach reflects a commitment to both flavour and environmental responsibility. Diners can also complete their meal with noodles, rice dishes or house-made desserts for a satisfying finish.

A contemporary dining space inspired by hotpot culture

The experience at QUAN Hotpot extends beyond the food itself, with interiors designed to reflect the cultural storytelling behind communal dining traditions.

Natural wood textures and warm amber lighting create an inviting atmosphere suited for both intimate meals and larger group gatherings. A standout visual feature is a custom mural by Singapore contemporary artist Sam Lo titled One Pot, Many Worlds, which draws on ingredients, symbols and cultural references linked to the origins of hotpot.

The artwork runs across multiple parts of the restaurant, reinforcing the idea that hotpot dining brings together diverse flavours and people around a shared table.

A new communal dining destination at Resorts World Sentosa

More than just a hotpot meal, QUAN Hotpot is positioned as a space designed for conversation and connection, where diners can slow down and enjoy the experience of cooking and sharing food together.

With its combination of regional broths, premium ingredients and a thoughtfully designed dining environment, it adds another distinctive option for group dining within Resorts World Sentosa.
