A New Retail Launch for Fry Lovers
Lamb Weston has officially expanded its retail presence into Malaysia, bringing its range of restaurant-quality frozen fries to home kitchens across the country. Following its regional debut in Singapore late last year, the global potato specialist is now making its signature fry cuts available to Malaysian consumers just in time for festive gatherings and everyday meals at home.
Six Signature Fry Cuts Designed for Crisp Results
The Malaysian retail range features six distinct fry styles, each developed to deliver consistent texture and flavour when prepared in either an air fryer or oven. These include seasoned Twister™ Fries with a fluffy centre, Waffle Fries with extra edges for crunch, and Ziggy™ Fries designed with deeper ridges for enhanced crispiness. For dipping and sharing, Potato Dippers™ offer a scoop-friendly shape, while Rustic Fries provide a skin-on cut with a hearty bite. The range is rounded out with Grill Fries seasoned with salt and pepper for a bolder, savoury profile.
Built for Convenience and Longer-Lasting Crispiness
All fries in the range are coated with Lamb Weston’s proprietary Stealth™ batter technology, designed to help fries stay crisp for longer after cooking. Created specifically for oven and air-fryer preparation, the fries require no added oil or deep frying, making them a convenient option for home entertaining or casual snacking.
The entire range is halal-certified, vegan, and gluten-free, catering to a wide range of dietary preferences while maintaining a familiar comfort-food appeal.
A Sustainability-Minded Retail Rollout
Beyond product innovation, Lamb Weston has also introduced more sustainable retail packaging for its Malaysian launch. The new packs are thinner and incorporate bio-renewable materials derived from used cooking oil, supporting the brand’s wider goals to reduce food waste and carbon emissions globally.
