A Taste of Korea’s Culinary Future, Right in Singapore
Kott-Don 360, the latest evolution from the team behind Flower Pig 360, has officially opened at PLQ Mall, marking a new chapter in Korean barbecue dining in Singapore. Known for its handcrafted aged meats and artisanal “flower-cut” butchery, Kott-Don 360 sets itself apart by focusing on precision, balance, and a warm, immersive dining experience.
The founders, Frank Jin and Chef Jeon Woohyun, first entered the Singapore market with the original Flower Pig 360 in Tanjong Pagar. Their understated launch led to overwhelming success—thanks to a loyal following drawn to the restaurant’s commitment to authentic Korean flavours and exceptional hospitality.
Why “Flower-Cut” Meat?
At the heart of Kott-Don 360 is a signature preparation technique: the flower-cut. Each cut of meat, aged for 360 hours, is delicately scored by hand to maximise tenderness and enhance flavour absorption. The result is a melt-in-your-mouth experience that doesn’t rely on overpowering smoke or charcoal, but rather celebrates the clean, rich taste of properly aged and marinated meat.
While pork remains the main feature, the same technique is used on select beef cuts—equally praised by diners. This meticulous method is rarely used elsewhere due to the labour-intensive nature of the process, requiring deep expertise and time investment.
A Brand That Reflects Joy and Craftsmanship
The name “Kott-Don” is a clever wordplay in Korean, where “Kott” (꽃) means flower and “Don” (돈) means money—symbolising both the refined aesthetics of the brand and the pleasure of spending on something that brings joy: great food with loved ones. The “360” nods to the hours of aging each cut undergoes, a testament to the restaurant’s slow and purposeful approach.

Where Korean Meets Nyonya in Design
The new PLQ Mall outlet is more than just a dining space—it’s a visual celebration of cultures. Korean-style neon signs and traditional black exhaust hoods are juxtaposed with deep green interiors and Peranakan-inspired tile flooring, creating a uniquely local yet unmistakably Korean atmosphere.
“Our goal is to evolve Korean dining for a global audience without losing our roots,” says CEO Frank Jin. “By blending Singapore’s heritage design with our signature preparation methods, we’re creating something that feels new but deeply familiar.”
What to Expect on the Menu
Diners can enjoy premium aged pork and beef with unlimited Korean side dishes and a sweet finish of complimentary Häagen-Dazs ice cream. Each visit promises a full-flavoured, heartfelt meal that combines tradition with innovation—all at an accessible price point.
