Sunshine Bakeries is introducing a limited-edition loaf that’s anything but ordinary — the Sunshine KOMUGI GOLD Hana Ocha Komugi Loaf. Launching on 10 October 2025, this is the brand’s first-ever floral tea–infused bread, marrying Japanese flavour philosophy with artisanal breadmaking.

Inspired by Japanese elegance

Drawing on Japanese tea culture, this loaf combines the aromatic notes of floral tea with the softness of Japanese Komugi flour and the light crunch of sesame. The result? A refined, harmonious slice with layers of flavour that unfold gently on the palate.

Signature softness, now with a floral twist

The loaf is made with premium Komugi flour, giving it the light and airy fuwa fuwa texture that’s become a Sunshine signature. What makes it different is the subtle perfume of floral tea in every bite — a quiet nod to the serenity and detail that defines Japanese craftsmanship.

For those who seek refined simplicity

This new release is for those who appreciate softness with nuance. Each slice offers more than just fluff — it’s an elegant balance of earthy wholemeal, floral notes, and toasty sesame. Sunshine calls it “Komugi Softness. Blooming in Every Slice.”

Where to buy

The Hana Ocha Komugi Loaf retails at S$4.50 and will be available islandwide in all major supermarkets, hypermarkets, and convenience stores — but only for a limited time.
