Chope, Asia’s leading dining platform, has announced the winners of Diners’ Choice, an annual dining award celebrating the city’s most-loved F&B establishments. Now in its eighth year, the campaign celebrates Singapore’s dining industry by commemorating diners’ favourites, and rewarding F&B establishments for their craft, service, and dedication.

Diners voted online from 18 October to 15 November 2022, culminating in a list of eight winners across key categories which include Restaurant of the Year won by Fat Cow (featured image), New Restaurant of the Year won by Kaarla, Bar of the Year won by Hopscotch, Most Romantic Restaurant won by Monti, and Halal Restaurant of the Year won by The Halia. This edition introduced new categories such as Brunch Spot of the Year, Dessert Spot of the Year, and Best Alfresco Dining. These additions are in line with Chope’s merchant growth and services offered in 2022.

With a theme of ‘Championing Good Taste’, Chope recognises that good taste always prevails — no matter the season. Giving diners the opportunity to have their say in who wins has been a big push for the legitimacy of the awards, which relies on what diners like, rather than a panel of judges.

Diners’ Choice 2022 follows a year where Chope has celebrated key milestones. Once seen as a reservations platform, the brand introduced its updated tagline of ‘Dining Made Easy’ in August 2022. It’s a move that heralded a new age of Chope as a one-stop platform across multiple dining touchpoints, which included the addition of pre-order, pick-up, and delivery. The brand also celebrated seating over 110 million diners across the region this year, and is poised for growth across Asia as a leading dining platform.
