Subway Singapore is introducing it’s all-new Shrimp (or prawns as this writer prefers to call it) to its menu, making it the first Subway restaurant in Southeast Asia to do so. Following the success of Shrimp across other Subway restaurants in Taiwan, Japan and South Korea, Singaporeans can now get their hands on the Shrimp Rendang, which will be available islandwide from now till 28 June 2022 only.
In addition, due to popular demand, Subway is also bringing back its beloved Chicken and Beef Rendang, together with the seasonal favourite Pandan Cookie, alongside the new sumptuous Shrimp option.
The return of the rendang subs is perfectly timed with the easing of restrictions as well as the Hari Raya season.
“We have listened to Singapore and the people’s love of Rendang, and we’re excited to bring back our most successful Limited Time Offer, with the delicious addition of Shrimp. Considering Singaporeans consume more seafood than the global average¹, bringing Shrimp to the seafood-loving nation was a natural next step,” said Samad Mohd Shariff, Country Director, Subway, South East Asia.
Besides in stores, the Shrimp, Chicken or Beef Rendang sub, salad or wrap as well as the Pandan Cookie will be available across delivery platforms as such GrabFood, FoodPanda and Deliveroo.
