The Lobby Lounge has curated a special high tea set for two, in partnership with United Women Singapore (UWS) to celebrate International Women’s Day throughout the month of March.

This marks the second collaboration between Shangri-la Singapore and United Women Singapore to raise awareness of UWS’ local programmes on women’s empowerment and gender equality. Shangri-La Singapore will donate $3 for every high tea set sold to UWS to advance the cause for women’s empowerment and gender equality.

Served from 1 to 31 March 2022, the three-tier high tea experience features a myriad of savoury and sweet treats in the UWS’ brand colours of purple and yellow, with purple brought to the fore as the international symbol for women. The culinary treats comprise a mix of savouries like the smoked royal salmon and forest mushroom quiche, ocean crabmeat with tobiko and sweet prawn salad in ube roll, exquisite French desserts, familiar local kuehs and freshly baked vanilla and orange scones.

Priced at $$88++ and available from 3pm to 5pm daily, each high tea set serves two persons and includes two hot beverages. Choices include a range of exclusive tea selection, freshly-brewed Cappuccino, Latte, Teh Tarik and Kopi.

The International Women’s Day collaboration also features Magenta, a beautiful cake made with a combination of blueberry yoghurt cheese mousse, pecan cocoa brownie, and pecan nuts streusel, and adorned with white chocolate flowers. The 350g cake is available at Shophouse by Shangri-La from 1 to 31 March 2021 at $$48 nett. For companies or groups that wish to honour the women in their organisations with a gift of Magneta, logo customisation are available with a minimum order of 10 cakes.
