Bangkok has no shortage of rooftop restaurants, but EA Rooftop at The Empire in Sathorn makes a case for choosing your dinner by cuisine as well as by view. Spread across the upper floors of The Empire, the destination brings together contemporary Thai, Chinese, Italian and Japanese-Peruvian cooking, with the city skyline and Chao Phraya River as the backdrop.
Its next big occasion is World of NOBU on 24 November 2026, when Nobu Matsuhisa and chefs from seven Nobu destinations gather in Bangkok for an evening of food, sake and music.
World of NOBU comes to Bangkok in November

Taking place at Nobu Bangkok’s 57th-floor Event Terrace from 7 pm to 11 pm on 24 November, World of NOBU brings together chefs representing Nobu Bangkok, Dubai, One Za’abeel, by the Beach, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. Each will prepare dishes at chef-led stations, offering guests different interpretations of Nobu’s Japanese-Peruvian style.
Attendees can also meet Nobu Matsuhisa. A live band is scheduled from 7 pm to 9 pm, followed by a DJ. Sake is available as part of the Food & Sake Package.
As the early-bird booking period ended on 31 October, the announced regular admission is THB 3,800 net per person for food or THB 5,800 net for food and sake, excluding applicable ticketing fees. On 25 November, Nobu Bangkok will host a separate dinner featuring osusume (chef-recommended dishes) from the seven participating destinations. Check availability and booking conditions directly with the venue.
Four restaurants worth knowing at EA Rooftop
Le Du Kaan: modern Thai cooking with seasonal produce
On the 56th floor, chef Thitid “Ton” Tassanakajohn’s Le Du Kaan builds on the approach of his restaurant Le Du. It uses produce sourced from Thai farms, fisheries and artisans to revisit regional flavours with contemporary techniques. The venue also has an outdoor terrace and bar serving Thai-inspired cocktails, making it an option for diners who want sunset views with their meal.
K by Vicky Cheng: Cantonese and Chiu Chow influences
Hong Kong chef Vicky Cheng’s first restaurant outside his home market combines Chinese culinary traditions with techniques influenced by his French training. The menu draws on Cantonese and Chiu Chow flavours and follows seasonal ingredients, while a tea bar offers tea-based drinks alongside wines. K by Vicky Cheng is listed in the MICHELIN Guide 2026.
Sartoria by Paulo Airaudo: contemporary Italian flavours
Sartoria marks Paulo Airaudo’s Southeast Asian restaurant debut. Its name means “tailoring” in Italian, a theme reflected in the dining room and show kitchen. Expect Italian-inspired dishes shaped by local and imported ingredients, unexpected pairings and an open-fire kitchen. The restaurant is MICHELIN Selected for 2026.
Nobu Bangkok: Japanese-Peruvian dining above the city

Occupying the 57th, 58th and rooftop levels, Nobu Bangkok is described by the venue as the world’s highest Nobu restaurant and is the brand’s first in Thailand. Designed by Rockwell Group, the space moves from a bar on the 57th floor to the main dining room and outdoor terrace above, ending at a rooftop bar with 360-degree city views. The menu brings Nobu Matsuhisa’s Japanese-Peruvian approach to a Bangkok setting.
