La Bottega Enoteca has been recognised as Singapore’s highest-ranked pizzeria at The Best Pizza Awards 2026, with founder and chef-owner Antonio Miscellaneo securing the No. 85 spot on the global rankings. The accolade marks the fourth consecutive year that the chef has been featured on the prestigious international list.

The annual awards, held in Milan, celebrate some of the world’s finest pizzaiolos and recognise excellence in craftsmanship, authenticity and consistency. This year, Singapore had two representatives in the global Top 100 rankings:

• No. 85 – Antonio Miscellaneo, La Bottega Enoteca
• No. 91 – Antonio Brancato, ANTO Pizza e Aperitivi

The dual entries highlight Singapore’s growing reputation as a destination for artisan pizza.

Four Consecutive Years of Global Recognition

Chef Antonio’s latest achievement continues a remarkable run that began in 2023. According to the chef, the recognition is the result of a team’s dedication to continually improving and raising standards rather than relying on past successes.

Over the years, the Italian chef has built a strong culinary identity in Singapore through both La Bottega Enoteca and his casual Italian concept, Casa Vostra. His philosophy centres on quality ingredients, carefully developed dough and a commitment to balancing tradition with creativity.

An International Gathering Place for Pizza Lovers

La Bottega Enoteca has also become a destination for some of the world’s leading pizza makers. In recent years, the restaurant has hosted acclaimed chefs including Roberto Davanzo of Bob Alchimia a Spicchi, Jacopo Mercuro of 180 Grammi Pizzeria Romana and Massimiliano Prete of Sestogusto, bringing internationally recognised pizza talent to Singapore diners.
