La Terrace by Louise in Hong Kong has introduced a refreshed all-day dining menu alongside a new weekday set lunch and a weekly live music programme, marking a new chapter for the ground-floor terrace space beneath the MICHELIN-starred Louise at PMQ.
With the addition of a dedicated ground-floor kitchen — bringing the total to two kitchens across both levels — the terrace strengthens its position as a standalone destination for relaxed French dining while continuing to reflect the culinary direction of Executive Chef Loïc Portalier and Head Pastry Chef Eve Minialai.
The update also introduces a more social midweek rhythm through Soulful Live Acoustic Wednesdays, designed to bring a laid-back after-work atmosphere to the terrace.
A Refreshed All-Day Menu with French Bistro Foundations
The updated all-day menu builds on La Terrace’s casual French bistro identity while introducing lighter produce-driven plates alongside richer signatures designed for sharing.
New snacks and starters include Smoked Cured Sardine with grilled sourdough and romesco, inspired by Basque-style preparations layered with confit tomato, nuts and smoked paprika.
A returning favourite, the Croque Monsieur with St Nectaire cheese and black truffle, is pressed in a waffle iron to create a crisp exterior with a molten truffle mornay centre and cooked ham.
Lighter dishes continue the menu’s fresh direction with Hamachi dressed in citrus-forward ponzu and yuzu kosho, paired with green meat radish for contrast, and Confit Datterino Tomato with sunflower seed and mint oil, offering a softer Mediterranean-style profile.
Among the mains, the Clams with nduja, seaweed and lemon beurre blanc stand out with their layered richness balanced by gentle spice and acidity.
At the heart of the menu sits Maman Claudine “Choux Farci”, a homestyle dish inspired by Chef Julien Royer’s mother. Designed for sharing, the cabbage-wrapped preparation features pork, foie gras and dried plums slowly braised in pork jus until tender.

Classic French Desserts with a Lighter Touch
Desserts continue the classic French direction with refreshed seasonal accents.
The Amalfi Lemon Givré combines lemon and basil sorbet with citrus crèmeux and meringue served inside a frozen lemon shell, while the Caramelised Apple Tarte Tatin pairs layered apples with vanilla ice cream and lime crème fraîche for a bright finish.
A New Weekday Set Lunch for Thursdays and Fridays
Alongside the à la carte update, La Terrace by Louise has introduced a structured Thursday and Friday set lunch menupriced at HK$428 + 10% per guest.
The set begins with snacks such as Sago & Mimolette Arancini, followed by a choice of starters including:
- Escargots with garlic parsley butter
- Confit Bell Pepper with burrata cream, olive oil and basil
- Foie Gras Ravioli with beef consommé and Kampot pepper oil (supplement applies)
Main course options highlight signature dishes from the terrace menu, including:

- Australian Black Angus Ribeye with Kampot pepper sauce (supplement applies)
- Clams with nduja and lemon beurre blanc
Dessert selections by Chef Eve Minialai include Crêpes Suzette with kalamansi sorbet and Paris Brest with hazelnut praline (supplement applies).
Designed as a more accessible weekday dining format, the set lunch mirrors the cooking style of the main menu while offering a quicker and more structured experience suited to midweek visits.

Soulful Live Acoustic Wednesdays Add a Midweek Social Rhythm
Further shaping the terrace’s identity is the introduction of Soulful Live Acoustic Wednesdays, running weekly from 6:45pm to 10pm.
The live music series brings a relaxed after-hours atmosphere to the space, positioning La Terrace as an easy option for casual dinners, drinks with friends or post-work gatherings within the PMQ neighbourhood.
