One MICHELIN-starred Louise, the elegant French dining destination on Aberdeen Street by Chefs Julien Royer and Loïc Portalier, has rolled out a host of exciting updates across its upstairs dining room and the casual La Terrace by Louise on the ground floor. The summer refresh includes the appointment of a new Head Pastry Chef, an array of seasonal dishes, updated tasting menus, a broadened all-day bistro menu, and a value-packed Thursday and Friday set lunch.
A Sweet New Chapter with Chef Eve Minialai
Louise proudly welcomes Eve Minialai as Head Pastry Chef. With training at La Violette in Paris and experience in celebrated MICHELIN-starred kitchens such as Alain Ducasse au Plaza Athénée, ADMO, and Pavillon Ledoyen, Minialai blends classic French techniques with modern, produce-led creativity. Her debut creations include Ananas Rôtiwith tepache sorbet and green cardamom, and the indulgent Niigata Riz au Lait with Madagascar vanilla ice cream and salted caramel.
Seasonal Highlights at Louise
Executive Chef Loïc Portalier’s new summer menu features six vibrant dishes, such as Pineapple Tomato with silky tomato water, yellow peach, and shoyu-basil dressing; Morisseau Mussels in seaweed butter, Amalfi lemon, and nduja; Grilled Foie Gras with kabu turnip and peanut gomashio; and Girolles Mushroom Agnolotti with Roussillon apricots. Desserts shine with Minialai’s creations, available à la carte or as part of Louise’s six-course Tasting Menu (from HK$1,588) or seven-course Prestige Menu (from HK$1,888), with curated wine pairings by Head Sommelier Jasmine Low.
Relaxed Dining at La Terrace by Louise

Downstairs, La Terrace offers French comfort food in a lush, casual setting. New additions include Sago & Mimolette “Arancini”, Pâté en Croûte with foie gras and duck breast, Potato & Baerii Caviar Millefeuille, Escargots in parsley butter, and Confit Bell Pepper with burrata cream. Mains such as Mediterranean Grilled Octopus and rustic La Truffade de Louise bring hearty flavour, while desserts like the Vanilla “Sando” complete the experience.
Set Lunch for a Midweek Treat
On Thursdays and Fridays, La Terrace serves a four-course Set Lunch (from HK$428) featuring favourites like Sago Arancini, Escargots, Foie Gras Ravioli, ½ Roasted Yellow Chicken with Niigata rice, and Australian Grilled Ribeye. End with Crêpes Suzette or Île Flottante.
Louise continues to marry French culinary excellence with a warm, welcoming atmosphere—whether you’re indulging in a refined tasting menu upstairs or enjoying laid-back bistro fare downstairs.
