Thai street food lovers, rejoice! Dusit Foods and Thai Airways have expanded their successful ‘Streets to Sky’ collaboration, introducing even more beloved local favourites to international passengers flying in Economy Class.

Following the warm reception of its debut in August 2024, the project now features four new signature dishes curated from Pinto Hub—a platform co-developed by Dusit Foods and Farm to Plate Processor (F2P) that supports local food SMEs. These additions continue the mission of bringing authentic Thai flavours to the skies, making Economy Class feel like a culinary tour of Thailand.

What’s New on the Menu

Travellers can now enjoy:

  • Chicken Gravy with Rice from Jeib Rod Dee Ded, a classic eatery with over 50 years of history

  • Duck Noodles from Xia Noodle in Bang Rak, famous for its rich broth and tender duck

  • Hokkien Stir-Fried Noodles with Seafood from Krua Jongjit, showcasing bold Phuket flavours

  • Choo-Chee Fish Curry from Baan Yeesarn, a rich and herbaceous traditional Thai curry

These new dishes join existing favourites such as Massaman Chicken, Khao Soi, and Crispy Noodles with Chicken Gravy, introduced in the earlier phase of the programme.

Food as Cultural Storytelling

This unique initiative is part of Thai Airways’ push to elevate Thai cuisine as a global soft power. By partnering with Dusit Foods, they aim to showcase authentic, small-scale culinary gems that wouldn’t normally reach an international audience.

Each dish is made with premium ingredients, many sourced from local farmers, creating a ripple effect that supports Thai agriculture and SMEs.

“This collaboration brings real Thai food from the streets to the skies,” says Manisa Mitpaibul, Managing Director of Dusit Foods. “Our goal is to support local food heroes and share the rich heritage of Thai cuisine with the world.”

A Culinary Journey Beyond First Class

While luxury menus are typically reserved for premium cabins, the ‘Streets to Sky’ programme ensures Economy Class guests also enjoy memorable, flavourful meals that reflect the heart of Thai cuisine. With the newly launched dishes, every traveller can savour a slice of Thailand’s vibrant food culture—without the need for an upgrade.

Stay tuned as Dusit Foods and Thai Airways continue to broaden their horizons, using food to connect cultures, promote sustainability, and uplift Thailand’s culinary legacy.
