In Chef Mode has been honoured with two industry awards in 2025, recognising its contribution to food media and culinary storytelling across Singapore and the wider region.
The platform was named Best Food Blogger 2025 (Singapore) at the LUXLife Food & Drink Awards, an accolade that highlights independent voices shaping how food culture is documented and shared. In the same year, In Chef Mode also received the title of Best Culinary Storytelling Platform at the APAC Insider South East Asia Business Awards 2025, recognising its editorial approach to food, dining and hospitality storytelling.

Since its inception, In Chef Mode has focused on telling food stories with substance — spotlighting chefs, restaurants, producers and culinary experiences through thoughtful, context-driven features rather than trend-led coverage. From in-depth dining features to seasonal guides and cultural explorations, the platform aims to document food as both craft and culture.
“These awards reaffirm the importance of slowing down and telling food stories properly,” said Melissa Fann of In Chef Mode. “Food is deeply tied to identity, memory and community, and we’re grateful to be recognised for approaching it with care and intention.”
As In Chef Mode continues to grow, the platform remains committed to celebrating food beyond the plate — honouring the people, places and stories that shape how we eat today.
