Rosewood Phnom Penh is bringing back the highly anticipated Taste of Cambodia festival, happening from 11 to 14 September 2025. Following its successful debut last year, this four-day epicurean journey celebrates Cambodia’s vibrant culinary identity through exclusive chef collaborations, artisanal dining experiences, sustainable cocktail showcases, and charitable initiatives.
Immersive Culinary Experiences
Guests can look forward to globally inspired menus crafted by culinary masters:
Chef Alexis Moko of MICHELIN-starred MOKO Kyoto returns with a three-course lunch and five-course dinner at CUTS, featuring highlights like horse mackerel with pickled cucumber, grouper with zucchini and basil, and a decadent hazelnut gâteau with cognac ice cream.
At Zhan Liang, a four-hands dinner with chefs from MICHELIN-starred Lingnan House in Guangzhou blends Chinese culinary artistry with contemporary techniques, featuring dishes like wok-baked lobster with basil, Shanghainese smoked cod, and abalone fried rice in lotus leaf.
Sustainable Cocktails and Rooftop Revelry
On 11 September, the festival kicks off with the Nikka Takeover at The Whisky Library, where cocktails by guest mixologist Takuya Matsumoto are priced at just USD12.
On 12 and 13 September, Sora, the award-winning rooftop bar, will host seven of Cambodia’s top bars, including Infusion Bar, Papa Wong, and Bar 43. Enjoy signature creations from the country’s most exciting bartenders, with cocktails priced at only USD7.
Afternoon Tea Meets Artistry
For the first time, Rosewood Phnom Penh partners with Il Nodo Cambodia to present an elegant afternoon tea at The Living Room. Priced at USD56 for two, the menu features Khmer-inspired desserts such as fermented black glutinous rice with coconut, Khmer layer cake, and pineapple-flavoured Num Kroch, complemented by artisanal jewelry displays inspired by the Mekong River.
Charity Gala and Sunday Brunch Finale
The IBC Annual Ball on 13 September will raise funds for the Indochina Starfish Foundation (ISF). A collaborative charity menu will be created by Chef Moko alongside Cambodia’s leading culinary talents, including Sothea Seng of Lum Orng and Sonara Sieng of Rosewood Phnom Penh.
The festival closes on 14 September with a lavish Sunday Brunch at Brasserie Louis, showcasing premium Chamkar Damnak lamb in dishes such as lamb tartare, harissa-marinated chops, and slow-braised shank. Priced at USD70 per person, guests can also opt for free-flow beverage packages from USD20.
