One MICHELIN-starred Estro (ranked #32 on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025) and Eatanic Garden from Seoul (#25 on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025) are teaming up once again for an exclusive two-night collaboration in Hong Kong on 10–11 September 2025. This marks the third chapter in the creative friendship between Chef Antimo Maria Meroneof Estro and Chef Son Jong-Won of Eatanic Garden, bringing together their unique culinary philosophies for an all-new tasting experience.
A Creative Friendship Across Borders
The collaboration began in Seoul back in 2023 and has evolved into a celebrated partnership that blends Korean culinary traditions with Italian refinement. Chef Son, renowned for his inventive approach to modern Korean cuisine, incorporates techniques like fermentation, ageing, and ingredient-driven innovation, while Chef Antimo elevates Neapolitan cuisine with progressive flair.
Chef Antimo shared, “This collaboration represents more than food—it’s about creativity, friendship, and the chance to explore the possibilities when two culinary worlds meet.”
The Collaboration Menu Highlights
Guests will be treated to an entirely new eight-course menu, where Korean roots meet Italian elegance:
Gimbap – Tuna, smoked caviar, finger lime
Bugak – Ama-ebi with Amalfi lemon
Arancino – Kimchi with tomato concentrate
Bottarga Noodles – Wild sesame oil, abalone
Langoustine – Ink gnocchi, fermented pepper sauce
Samgyetang – Matsutake brodo with chicken & mortadella tortellini
Lamb Galbi – Saddle, soy-marinated belly, and condiments
Chestnut Tatin – Parmigiano ice cream, balsamic vinegar, olive oil
The menu is priced at HK$2,980++ per guest, with an optional wine pairing at HK$1,880++. Reservations are open via SevenRooms.
Looking Ahead: Seoul Chapter
After Hong Kong, the collaboration continues at Eatanic Garden in Seoul on 11–12 October 2025, where the chefs will switch perspectives with an Italian-inspired menu infused with subtle Korean influences, promising an entirely new dining experience.
