This summer, Hong Kong’s Central dining hotspot, BaseHall, is turning up the heat with two exciting additions. Over at BaseHall 01, cult-favourite gourmet burger joint Sick! Burger has officially joined the lineup, while BaseHall 02 will host a limited-time Snack Baby Gelato pop-up from 15 July to 13 September 2025.

Sick! Burger – Bold Flavours at BaseHall 01

After winning hearts in Ma On Shan and Causeway Bay, Sick! Burger is now bringing its “crazy good” creations—name inspired by western slang and a Cantonese pun—to Central. Founded by Chef Chunwai Lai, a finalist in HSBC’s “Red Hot Chef” contest with MICHELIN-starred kitchen experience, Sick! Burger is all about reinventing classics with premium toppings, house-made sauces, and global-meets-local inspiration.

The menu features juicy beef, chicken, fish, vegetarian, and even breakfast-style burgers, with standout picks like:

Signature E.B.L.T. – Sunny-side-up egg, bacon, tomato, and onion (from HK$105)

Sick! Chicken Burger – Masala & buttermilk-marinated chicken with Caesar sauce (HK$85)

Sick! Veggie Burger – Shiitake, quinoa, and potato patty with ratatouille (HK$98)

Sick! Fish Burger – Beer-battered Atlantic cod with tartar sauce (HK$92)

Guests can customise with extra toppings, upgrade to combos, and enjoy sides like Bacon Cheesy Fries, Curry Chicken Wings, or Fish & Chips. Wash it all down with nostalgic drinks such as Hong Kong-style Milk Tea or signature Sick! Shakes, and end with the indulgent Sick! Rum Toast.

Snack Baby Gelato – Conscious Indulgence at BaseHall 02

Known for its playful yet mindful approach, Snack Baby serves lactose-free, nut-based, and vegan-friendly gelato without skimping on taste. Founded by JC Lombard with recipes by gelato expert Bas van Haaren, the Hollywood Road favourite will be scooping at BaseHall 02 for two months.

The pop-up will feature a rotating menu, including an exclusive Strawberry Moon sorbet, plus flavours like:

BB Cinnamon – Blackberry with cinnamon

Olive Oil Dark Chocolate – Rich cocoa with a silky olive oil finish

Pistachio Crunch – Roasted pistachios with nutty crystals

Passion Fruit Pavlova – Tart gelato with crisp meringue shards

Priced at HK$68 for up to three flavours, these treats are available daily from 12 PM to 3 PM.
