In a powerful tribute to both heritage and national pride, Maison Martell has unveiled an extremely limited-edition release: a 60-year-old cognac created exclusively for Singapore’s 60th National Day. Only 12 decanters will be produced, making it one of the rarest bottlings in the House’s 310-year history—and it will be available only in Singapore.
A Liquid Legacy, 150 Years in the Making
This launch marks 150 years since Martell’s first shipment arrived in Singapore in 1871. Since then, Martell has become a staple of Singaporean celebrations—from Lunar New Year banquets to high-society gatherings and diplomatic toasts.
The commemorative release honours this longstanding relationship, capturing the essence of both Martell’s deep-rooted tradition and Singapore’s journey from trading port to global metropolis.
Crafted for Collectors
Created by Cellar Master Christophe Valtaud, the cognac is made from the rarest eaux-de-vie, aged for over six decades in fine-grained oak. The result is a spirit that expresses both power and finesse, bearing the distinct signature of Martell’s historic cellars.
“It has a unique power worthy of the finest and rarest eaux-de-vie… and that cellar signature only time can give,” shares Valtaud.
Design with Deep Symbolism
Each bottle is housed in a stunning Baccarat crystal decanter, adorned with vines and grape motifs and inspired by the Vanda Miss Joaquim, Singapore’s national flower—a nod to both resilience and refinement.
The decanter rests within a handcrafted oak and engraved gold case, marrying French craftsmanship with Singapore’s modern elegance.
Exclusivity at Its Peak
This release is available only to Le Cercle by Pernod Ricard members—the private client circle of Martell’s parent company. With just 12 decanters worldwide, this is more than a bottle—it’s a symbol of legacy, identity, and excellence.
