Lion Brewery Co Taproom on 36 Club Street is launching a sumptuous six-course beer-pairing menu that showcases the best offerings from the taproom.
Priced at S$70++ per person and available all day, guests will enjoy a flight of beer featuring all-time favourites. The pairing experience begins with the crisp, clean, and thirst-quenching Island Lager, paired with a hearty Scotch Egg made with pork sausage, nduja, and house-made Sriracha mayo. Next, the Spindle Press Cider, crafted from bittersweet apples, prepares your palate for the Pork Belly Bites. The crispy Soft-shell Prawn with a piquant Vietnamese-inspired dipping sauce is complemented by the refreshingly tropical and hoppy profile of the Straits Pale Ale, specifically brewed for Singapore’s hot equatorial climate.
The smooth, single-hopped The Boss IPA boasts notes of mango, pine, and citrus that pair perfectly with the delicious Beef Sliders. Cleansing the palate is the fruit-forward sour, Raspberry Beeret, accompanied by a Spicy Pork Skewer marinated in sambal manis and served with a side of achar. To round off the pairing, enjoy the velvety, easy-drinking Cold Smoke Nitro Stoutpaired with the Beer-a-Misu that’s infused with the low-hop stout.
