Bruichladdich, the renowned Islay distillery, is proud to introduce the Micro Provenance Single Cask 0287, a limited-edition offering exclusively bottled for Singapore. This exceptional single-cask whisky is a testament to the brand’s commitment to provenance and flavour-driven innovation.

Cask 0287 is a true rarity, with only 288 bottles created for Singapore. Distilled in February 2011 and aged 12 years in a second-fill Jurançon cask before being bottled in May 2023, the whisky showcases the character of Bere barley, an ancient and genetically diverse grain championed by Bruichladdich. Handpicked from over 80,000 unique casks, Bruichladdich’s Head Distiller, Adam Hannett, chose the whisky for its bold and multifaceted flavour profile and its robust strength of 60.3% ABV. The Jurançon cask, sourced from the Jurançon winemaking region in Southwest France, beautifully resurfaces and ages the citrus notes in the Bruichladdich spirit.

Bruichladdich’s Micro Provenance range continues to celebrate the diversity of the distillery’s casks, where the distillery boasts over 200 different types of casks maturing on Islay shores at Loch Indaal, each hand-selected by Hannett.

“We’re thrilled to bring this exceptional range to Singapore,” said Hannett. “Cask 0287 exemplifies our dedication to experimentation and passion for showcasing the quality of our casks, following the success of Cask 0315 in 2022, aged in Syrah barrels. These single casks encapsulate all of our values: Quality over quantity, provenance, and led not by age but by flavour. We hope to offer whisky enthusiasts in Singapore a unique opportunity to experience the complexity of these single-cask expressions.”

The Bruichladdich Micro Provenance Single Cask 0287 is available for purchase in Singapore exclusively at One Cellar at S$288. For more information, please visit One Cellar.
