Yes, Christmas is barely over and now we’re all making plans for the Lunar New Year which falls on the 1st and 2nd of February this year. We’ve compiled a short list of where you can get your reunion grub to usher in the Year of the Tiger. Check out our listicle on Lunar New Year goodies next!

Yu Sheng

This is a quintessential dish at every reunion meal, setting the tone of the meal as everyone tosses to prosperity and health!

Don Don Donki

Perfect for those who are a bit budget conscious as Donki’s Yu Sheng platters start from S$22 (plain) and they also offer a vegetarian option (S$25.80). Personal favourites are the Salmon or Scallop Yu Sheng (S$35.80 and S$38 respectively) and they’re really quite generous in portions but isn’t too much as a starter dish for 6-8pax.

To order, grab a pre-order sheet from the nearest branch to your home, fill it in and proceed to any cashier counter for payment. Last day of order is on 14th February, with the last day of collection on the 15th.

Artemis Grill

Why not toss your Yu Sheng with panoramic views of Marina Bay at Artemis Grill? Located on the 40th floor of CapitaGreen building, their Lo Hei experience is not only beautiful (due to the view) but unique to the Japanese twist. Available during lunch and dinner from 18 January to 11 February (do note that they are closed on 31 January till 2 February), their Yusheng Prosperity Toss are for up to 5 persons per table and comes in two selections: Standard and Premium.
