I made strawberry shortcakes on Thursday night simply because I felt like eating them. The strawberry shortcakes that I made are the traditional type, meaning that it is made with shortbread and not sponge cake, which is what you get in most (if not all) cake stores in Singapore.
Brought this to work and it was a hit with my colleagues! 😀 Many told me that it was cute, delicious and not too sweet (I cut back on a bit of the sugar). Mum didn’t have anything nice to say as usual. She went, “Of course they’ll say that. They’re just being polite.” -_-
Anyhows, I’m pretty proud of this strawberry shortcake because I made a similar one in London and it didn’t turn out this good. This one is really quite yummy! *Gives self a pat on the back*
